- Outdoorsica
- Webapp created in 2014 using JQuery and Bootstrap. Outdoorsica uses friendly competition to encourage young children to lead healthy lifestyles. It provides a fun alternative to video games and TV by merging technology with nature. Users have a bucket lists of “tasks” they must complete. These tasks involve users physical activity and immerse themselves outdoors. Such tasks include “replace water with soda ”, “do 30 jumping jacks”, and “eat an apple.” Each week, the list of tasks is reset to encourage players to continuously make healthy choices.
